Chirp Investor Memo - September 2025
Background: Nick Armstrong is a x4 founder, has raised over $50million and taken his last company Identitii to IPO. He's focused on Chirp and building this company with a 20-year vision, to completely change the future of work, starting with the sales function.

Create a world where technology powers the admin and humans power trust and relationships

I have spent more than twenty years in founder-led sales. Through every deal I have closed, every company I have built, and every conversation with customers, one truth has remained constant. At the absolute core of sales is not process, not data, not even product. It is trust.
Trusted relationships are what unlock revenue, create loyalty, and move markets forward.
Yet today, sales have drifted away from its essence. Reps are buried under admin and systems. They spend their days moving data from one tool to another, recording notes no one will read, or updating CRMs that no one trusts. The work that should be about people has become about paperwork.
I believe the future can be different. A positive future is one where humans are more connected, not less. Where technology does not replace relationships, but strengthens them. Where AI takes care of the repetitive and menial tasks that weigh us down, giving us back the most valuable resource we have: time. Time to listen, time to build rapport, time to focus on what really matters in the sales conversation.
Chirp exists to help create that future. We are building intelligence that clears the noise, unifies the context, and acts on behalf of the salesperson. Not to replace them, but to elevate them. To put them back in the position they were always meant to hold: trusted partners who guide customers to the right, valuable decisions.
Our journey will not be measured in quarters or funding rounds, but in decades. We believe that by staying true to this mission, we can set a new course for sales. One that is more human, more connected, and more purposeful.

Sales tech is bloated. Most organisations run ten to fifteen tools just to manage go-to-market, none of which talk to each other. CRM data is still garbage in, garbage out. CROs and founders are blind to what is really happening in their pipeline. Generative AI has arrived, but incumbents are bolting it onto broken workflows, adding complexity instead of clarity.
And now a new challenge looms. With always-on tools like Plaude Note and Limitless, we are heading into a data explosion. Every call, every message, every interaction will be captured. The issue will not be access to information, but making sense of it and turning it into action.

We are standing at the start of a transformation. AI is not just another layer in the stack, it is the shift that will redefine how we work.
Imagine a world where salespeople never touch a CRM field again. Where research, notes and follow-ups happen automatically. Where forecasts are trusted, not debated, and deals move faster because everyone has the full picture. In this future, people spend their time on what only humans can do: building trust, forming relationships, guiding decisions. Work feels lighter, faster, and more connected.
And the opportunity does not stop at sales. The same flock of agents that unifies data for revenue teams will flow into customer success, partnerships, marketing and beyond.
Over time, every customer-facing function is connected by the same living layer of context.
Twenty years from now, this will reach across entire organisations. The era of dashboards and disconnected tools will be over. Work will feel natural, conversational, and always in sync.
If we succeed, the heavy weight of administration disappears. Human focus shifts to creativity, decision-making and relationships.

Every major shift in enterprise software has followed a moment of inflection. The rise of cloud created Salesforce. The rise of APIs created Zapier. Today, three forces are converging to create the next wave.
The data deluge.
Always-on capture means every call, message and meeting is logged. The problem is no longer scarcity, it is sense-making at scale.
The AI leap.
For the first time, intelligence can move beyond summarisation to orchestration connecting systems, acting on context, and learning from feedback.
The interface shift.
Each generation of workers demands simpler, more natural interactions. The dashboard era is ending. Conversational agents will be the new operating system for business.
These forces make the 2020s the window for building the Context Layer. Five years ago, the technology was not ready. Five years from now, the incumbents will be entrenched. The opportunity is now.

Chirp is building a flock of specialised AI agents, powered by our Intelligence Engine. Each agent has a role — capturing data, analysing deal health, forecasting outcomes but they operate together as one, sharing context and learning from every interaction. This creates a living context layer that doesn’t just record what happened, but understands what is happening and predicts what should come next.

In more than twenty years of building companies, I have never seen a market opportunity as large as the one ahead for agentic AI. Arriving there will require focus, discipline, and significant advances in technology. We are heads-down on building the foundations today that will enable Chirp to scale into the intelligence layer for business tomorrow.
The areas we are advancing include:
Chirp Intelligence Engine
At the heart of our flock is the Chirp Intelligence Engine. It combines large language models, machine learning, natural language processing and data science into a single orchestration layer. The goal is not just to generate insights, but to take action updating systems, scheduling follow-ups, and surfacing the right context at the right time.

Agent Specialisation
We are building a flock of specialised agents, each designed for a different role: from capturing and structuring data, to analysing deal health, to forecasting outcomes. These agents share context across the flock, which means every action taken improves the intelligence of the whole.

Scalability and Cost
For this to work at scale, the cost of running intelligence per rep must come down to affordable levels. We are focused on optimising our architecture and infrastructure to deliver enterprise-grade AI at sustainable unit economics, measured by cost per deal supported.
Safety and Trust
We will only succeed if revenue teams trust the flock to act on their behalf. That means human-in-the-loop design, transparent decisions, and rigorous data privacy standards. Sales is built on trust, and our agents will reflect that same principle in how they operate.
Extensibility Across the Stack
Sales is just the starting point. Our architecture is designed to extend horizontally into marketing, customer success and partnerships. Each extension increases the power of the flock, because the more context it has, the more valuable its actions become.
Conversational, Generative UI Interface
We believe the future of work will not be dashboards, but conversation. Our agents are designed to interact naturally, through voice or chat, so that humans can focus on relationships, while the flock coordinates everything else in the background.
World-Class Design and Brand
Technology alone is not enough. The winners in enterprise will be the tools that people love to use. We are investing in design, UI and UX so that every interaction feels seamless, thoughtful and human. Unlike the bland, blue sameness of most B2B software, Chirp is building a brand that people want to engage with. We are also developing a gamified platform that motivates interaction and drives adoption, especially for the sales leaders of tomorrow. A product that delights is a product that endures.
Submit your interest in investing in the next Chirp round.

We wedge in through CRM automation, fast entry, no budget approval needed. From there, growth loops take over: activation, collaboration, data flywheel, and social proof. Our brand and gamified experience turn adoption into advocacy, especially among the next generation of sales leaders.

The market for AI agents is already crowded and noisy. Enterprise players like AgentForce or Sana, Relevance offer generic frameworks, but they require technical teams to build and maintain. Point solutions like Glyphic or Glean focus narrowly on search or summarisation. Even incumbents like Hubspot are bolting AI into existing workflows. Chirp is not a framework, not a feature, and not a bolt-on. It is a flock of pre-built agents, specialised for revenue, designed to delight. No technical setup, no endless configuration.
In the end, this is not about features. It is about defining the interface to work. Whoever owns that interface will own the category. We believe Chirp will.

In summary, our Master Plan begins with three steps:
- Build the Chirp Intelligence Engine as the foundation of the flock
- Deliver specialised AI agents that capture, analyse and act across the sales stack
- Create a conversational, human-centred interface that sales teams love to use
From there, the flock expands.
First into customer success, then into marketing, until every customer-facing function is connected by the same living context layer. Beyond that, the same intelligence becomes the interface for how entire organisations work.
We have the opportunity to redefine the way humans work, freeing people from the weight of administration, and giving them back the time to connect, create and decide.
It is time to fly. 🦅
