Connect Microsoft Outlook
One Microsoft sign-in gives Birdie your email and your calendar.
Connect
- On Home, tap Connect tools.
- Tap Connect on Microsoft Outlook and sign in with your work Microsoft account.
- Approve access.
:::note Your IT admin may need to approve Chirp Some companies only let admins approve new apps. If Microsoft says you need an admin's approval, send your IT team a link to this page and ask them to approve Chirp - Mail and Calendar. :::
What Birdie does with it
- Searches your mailbox when you ask, for example "any emails with Lachlan?".
- Imports emails from the last 90 days with people and companies in your CRM, starting once your CRM import finishes. Chirp keeps the subject, who it was with, when, and a short snippet, not the whole email.
- Birdie cannot save email drafts to Outlook yet.
Calendar
- Shows your upcoming meetings on Home, so you can get briefed and debrief afterwards.
- Imports meetings from 90 days back to 90 days ahead.
- If you say yes in a session, adds your dated tasks to your calendar as all-day events.
Connected Outlook before 29 September 2026?
Early Outlook connections only covered email. If your calendar is not showing, open Connectors and tap Reconnect on the calendar row.
