Create a task

A task is something you have to do. Say it the way you would say it out loud:

• "I'll send Priya the deck by Friday."
• "Remind me to call Tom on Tuesday."
• "I need to chase their legal team." (Birdie asks by when.)

When the customer promises something, Birdie makes a task for you to check it happened. "They're sending the security review Friday" becomes Check Kestrel sent the security review, due Friday.

Change a task the same way: "Push that to Monday", "Make it high priority", "Mark the Priya one done".

Send tasks to HubSpot automatically

If you use HubSpot, after your first dated task in a session Birdie asks once:

"Want me to put your tasks in HubSpot as we go?"

Say yes and every task from that session, including ones already made, goes to HubSpot when the session ends. You do not need to push them. Say no and they wait on Home with your other changes.

Put tasks on your calendar

If you have a calendar connected that Chirp can write to, Birdie asks whether you want your tasks on your calendar too. Say yes and each dated task becomes an all-day event on its due date when the session ends.

Reminders

• On Home: the Tasks section shows tasks due today. Tap Tomorrow to push one out a day, or tap the task to open its record.
• In a session: once per session Birdie may remind you of a task due today.
• Before you hang up: Birdie checks for promises with no task yet: "You said you'd send Priya the deck. Task for Friday?"
• Push notifications: turn on Push notifications in Settings to get a ping for tasks due today.
