Quickstart
Download the app, sign in, have a short first conversation with Birdie, and you are ready for your first real session.
Before you start
You need:
- An iPhone running iOS 15.1 or later. Chirp is iPhone-first today; Android is not available yet.
- A Google or Apple account to sign in with. There are no Chirp passwords.
- A quiet spot for your first conversation. Background noise makes it harder for Birdie to hear you.
A CRM is optional. Birdie works without one and keeps your records in Chirp until you connect one.
Set up Chirp
- 1
Download the app
Get Birdie: Voice Agent for Sales from the App Store.
- 2
Turn on Birdie
Tap Let's get started. Chirp shows How Birdie processes your voice, which explains which AI providers handle your audio and transcripts. Tap Enable Birdie to continue.
You can tap Not now and still get into the app, but every Birdie button stays locked until you turn AI processing on. You can change this any time in Settings → Privacy → Birdie & AI processing. See Privacy and data.
- 3
Sign in
Choose Google or Apple. The same screen works for new and returning users.
- 4
Allow the microphone
On A few quick questions, then your first session, tap Let's go. iOS asks for microphone access. Birdie cannot hear you without it.
If you said no by mistake, the button changes to Open Settings. Turn the microphone on for Chirp there, then come back.
- 5
Say hi to Birdie
Your first conversation is short. Birdie asks your role and your company, and shows them on a card. Fix any spelling on the card, then tap Confirm.
- 6
Connect your tools
Birdie shows one card with your calendar, email and CRM. Tap Connect on the ones you use, or Not now to skip. You can connect them later from Connect tools on Home. See Connectors.
If you connected a CRM, name one deal and Birdie reads back its stage, value and last activity, so you can hear it working. The rest of your CRM keeps importing in the background.
- 7
Go to Home
Tap Go to Home. You are set up.
Your first real session
On Home, tap Start session. In your first real session Birdie leads: it walks you through your most recent sales meeting or recent deals, the people involved and anything you owe, and puts it all on screen.
When you finish, everything Birdie captured waits on Home for you to review and push.
