Email drafts
Ask Birdie to write an email and it saves a draft to your mailbox. It never sends anything.
Ask for a draft
- "Give me a draft I can send to Mike Vanstone on next steps."
- "Write Tom an email saying we'll send the proposal Friday."
- "Line up a draft that says thanks."
Birdie writes the email and saves it to your Drafts. Open your mail app, check it, and send it yourself.
Good to know
- Drafts only. Birdie never sends an email, and it does not ask permission before saving a draft, because a draft reaches nobody.
- Gmail only, for now. Drafts need a connected Gmail account. Gmail is still rolling out, see Connectors.
- The contact needs an email address. If the record has none, Birdie may offer one it found in your mail or meetings. Say yes and it uses it, and also saves the address to the contact.
- No CC, BCC or attachments. Add them in Gmail before you send.
